Pairings: This 1L is perfect for shareable moments, it's great with fresh seasonal salads, grilled vegetables or vegetarian or lighter fish dishes like rainbow trout pan sautéed (poultry works great here too) with lemon & butter! The wine is packed with Gruners signature acid that literally pops, with lemon, lime, grapefruit plus hints of white pepper, and intense minerality.
About the Winemakers: Martin and Anna Arndorfer each have impressive pedigrees in the wine world. Martin comes from a long line of winemakers, and was raised on his parents’ estate. Anna’s father, Karl Steininger, is one of the most respected winemakers in Austria. Both Martin and Anna left Austria to study and work in wine all over, but came back to their hometown, Kamptal, to make wine under their Arndorfer label. They are self-proclaimed soil nerds, and credit the health of their vineyards for the clean, expressive wines that require little human intervention.
